Recap on the DC Metropolitan Art Expo

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

I wanted to post a thank you to everyone who came out to say Hi and …to buy to the National Harbor Art Expo Show. It was a lot of moving and packing but my brother John and I managed to get the booth up and running by 3pm on Friday.
The booth looked great this year with the new display panels and lights. I’ve enclosed a photo of the booth…with a broad range of the available paintings and prints.
Saturday was the first day open to the public and things started to POP. My first sales were to three 5 year olds. See I get the art collectors started early…. there is no better feeling than to have kids appreciate my art. They are some of the best artists out there!

The show closed at 5pm and I strolled through the Atrium and Hotel…a first for me! The whole design was great …like a small town under glass! Great restaurants …and atmosphere …I’ll have to take the water taxi (Charlotte…it’s her business.. would love that) over next time and spend the night.
Sunday was the busiest day… (more…)
